Careers
We have been hiring and keeping appliance technicians since 1984. Applications are read by the people you would be working for.
We have been hiring and keeping technicians since 1984, and the second half of that sentence is the part that matters. People stay here, which is why our customers get someone who has seen their appliance before.
If you are factory trained already, we will use it. If you are not, we will train you on five manufacturers' equipment and pay you while we do it.
Why work at Dan Marc
- Factory training on Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, JennAir and Amana
- A truck stocked with the parts you need to finish the job
- Steady year-round work across NY, NJ and PA
- Paid training and manufacturer certification
- Health benefits and paid time off
- A dispatcher who protects your schedule rather than overloading it
What the job actually is
In-home appliance repair across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. You are given a route, a stocked truck and an arrival window, and you are trusted to diagnose the appliance properly rather than to get through as many calls as possible.
We are factory authorized on five Whirlpool Corporation brands, which means the work is done to the manufacturer’s procedure with the manufacturer’s parts. If you have that training we will use it. If you do not, we will provide it.
What we look for
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
- Comfort working in a customer’s home, explaining a fault in plain language.
- Willingness to say a repair is not worth doing when it is not.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Formal experience helps, but we do train.
How the process runs
Send the form and we read it. If the role fits, someone calls you within a few working days for a short conversation, then a longer one in person. We do not leave applications unanswered.
